He is the first person in 80 years to raise a family of fluent speakers of his local dialect, reviving <a href=\"https:\/\/dorlach.scot\/\">Dalriada Gaelic<\/a> as well as completing the initial stages of reviving the moribund Latheron Gaelic dialect of his mother\u2019s people from SW Caithness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-medium-font-size\">\u00c0dhamh has absorbed a considerable storehouse of lore during 15 years of fieldwork travelling the length and breadth of the Scottish Highlands and his long term goal at D\u00f2rlach is the decolonisation of the Gaelic People through reconnection with the carrying stream of indigenous culture, language and lifeways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"247\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/dorlach.scot\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/FanchBG-2-247x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-86\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dalriada.scot\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/FanchBG-2-247x300.jpg 247w, https:\/\/dalriada.scot\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/FanchBG-2-842x1024.jpg 842w, https:\/\/dalriada.scot\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/FanchBG-2-768x934.jpg 768w, https:\/\/dalriada.scot\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/FanchBG-2.jpg 1239w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 247px) 100vw, 247px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Fa\u00f1ch Bihan-Gallic<\/strong> | Secretary | <em>fanch@dorlach.scot<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-medium-font-size\">Fa\u00f1ch is from the Isle of Arzh, in Brittany, is a successful reclaimer of the Breton language and fluent Gaelic learner. He currently lives in Glasgow, Scotland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Friseal MacFhearghais<\/strong> | Web Designer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-medium-font-size\">Fraser&#8217;s Fergusons came originally from Highland Perthshire.&nbsp; He has worked diligently over the last decade to develop the Dalriada Gaelic <a href=\"https:\/\/dorlach.scot\/\">website<\/a> with \u00c0dhamh as well as offering a variety of other web solutions and fixes for the organisation, including the setting up of the current D\u00f2rlach website. He has a very keen interest in the dialects and lore of the Gael and is pleased to take up the post of <em>Oifigear nan Iomairt Dhealanach<\/em> here at D\u00f2rlach.
